SharePoint designer hangs and eventually times out with an
error.
In SharePoint Designer there is an option to disable the
preloading of site data…
File > Options > (General Tab) > Application
Options:
By disabling the “Preload site data during the site open
process” and restarting SharePoint Designer… everything now works.
Please test like everything.
